About Us

Jabiru Wildlife is committed to bringing you a ‘hands on’ wildlife experience, creating opportunities to learn all about Australia’s most iconic reptiles and making memories that will last a lifetime. Traveling throughout NSW, we provide a range of interactive educational demonstrations suited to all audiences including:

  • Schools
  • TAFEs
  • Universities

With over 15 years of industry experience in biology, zoology and education, we are the experts in our field, and it is our passion to share this knowledge with you!

Kira

Kira’s love for Australian wildlife is unparalleled. Her wonderfully contagious enthusiasm, clearly evident at any given opportunity to share her extensive knowledge of the animals in her care. Kira has refined the art of wildlife presentations while working at a number of zoological institutions, and to further her training, formalised her education with a qualification in the care of captive animals. But most of all, it’s Kira’s passion which enables her to deliver wildlife presentations that are engaging, educational and most of all enjoyable.

Chris

Chris is a passionate and enthusiastic naturalist who enjoys nothing more than sharing his love of Australian fauna. With over 15 years of industry experience, having worked in Management at a number of zoological facilities, Chris formalised his education with a degree in biology and zoology. Chris founded Jabiru Wildlife in 2013 with the simple unenviable task of reducing the stigma around some of Australia’s most misunderstood reptiles.

We acknowledge the traditional custodians of this land and pay our respects to the elders both past, present and future for they hold the memories, the traditions, the culture and hopes of Aboriginal Australia. We must always remember that under the concrete and asphalt this land is, was and always will be traditional Aboriginal land.
