Stage 4 – Food chain and webs

  • While engaging with reptiles, students can investigate the way in which scientists classify animals, along with where they sit in the food chain, and how they interact with the rest of their environment. Students will also learn how reptiles survive and reproduce.

Stage 5 – Environmental change

  • Discover how living things respond to change in their environment. Through hands on interaction, students will learn how to conserve and maintain the quality of the environment, providing a deeper understanding and connection to helping Australian reptiles.

Great show, very informative. Heaps of educational assistance in learning about our dangerous Aussie reptiles and spiders. Cheers!

Thanks Chris. I found the show very informative but also informal, which I enjoyed!!!

Very friendly, very informative and lots of humour injected into their presentation. Reptiles and spiders were fascinating – seeing them up close and personal. Thank you!

I really liked the show. It was very interesting and I got a lot of knowledge out of this show. I also learned things that I wouldn’t ever learn and that was cool. It was an amazing experience!!

I thought the reptile show was great and entertaining. The show was organized and presented very well.

I enjoyed having Jabiru Wildlife come to visit us with the snakes and crocodiles.

The show was very interesting and informative.

I found the show educational and interesting, the snakes and crocodile were amazing and I gained some knowledge whilst seeing it.

I think the show was really enjoyable. It gave us a heap of useful information about what to do around snakes and if you get bitten. I now know what to do. My favourite part was when he brought out the crocodile, ‘Spike’.

All the animals were really cool and all the information Chris gave was really interesting. The first aid part of the talk was easy to understand and could be done. The croc was pretty sick, he was my favourite.

It was a good show, really good animals. Now I know more about snakes.

It was very interesting and informative, and I learned a lot. I quite enjoyed listening.

The main guy was really informative, and the animals were really cool. I also am no longer as scared as I used to be about beingbitten because the first aid is easier than I thought.

It was really cool to see the snakes and the crocodile. I found it very interesting and very educational.

It was a really educational show and I learned a lot. I loved seeing real reptiles and seeing how they move and breath.

I loved it! Thank you for your time.

Really informative but still interesting. Heaps of cool reptiles.

Amazing! Very educational. Thanks!

It was really interesting and the crocodile was so cool.

The show was entertaining as well as being educational. He answered everyone’s question with a great attitude.

I thought that the show was great. It was very intriguing finding out how snakes and spiders defend themselves and how they attack. It was also great finding out how to treat a bite.

I really enjoyed the show. I felt it was very educational yet still fun. A little upset that we couldn’t touch any, but I know why we weren’t allowed. I would recommend this for many years to come.

Thought it was very interesting and thought he shared lots of interesting facts. All in all it was really interesting!
